Dr. Ir. Wim Moonen

With FOM support obtained PhD on nuclear scattering of polarised protons at TU Eindhoven in 1986. Next started working with Tata Steel (at the time Hoogovens) in the electrical and instrumentation field doing performance measurements on all kind of process equipment. In 1992 moved to R&D to become department manager for steelmaking metallurgy. From 1996 onwards had several positions as R&D programme manager in ironmaking, steelmaking and environment areas. Since 2001 is also responsible for external research funding. Currently in charge of all external relations and funding for Tata Steel R&D in Europe.
