‘Balans’ is the lifestyle Programme of the University of Groningen's. It is aimed at all the University staff who consider a healthy lifestyle important and who would like to take concrete steps to make improvement. You are a Ph.D. candidate and you intend to complete your PHD research within the alloted time. This probably puts high professional and personal demands on you. This short workshop is intended for PhD's who often feel nervous and tense and discusses stress factors, recognising the process of chronic stress, stress reduction, and practical suggestions about what the University of Groningen has to offer.
