Critical thinking
Maarten Derksen

Critical thinking has been defined in various ways, but it is most often used to refer to disciplined, open-minded and self-reflective thinking. In this workshop, we will practice critical thinking in the service of critique, that is the analysis of the conditions of a statement, theory or practice. Thinking critically in this way not only seeks to analyse and assess an idea, but also to explore what ends it serves and what consequences it has.
