Dr Andrea Baldi is a senior scientist at the Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research (DIFFER). He received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Chemistry from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and his PhD in Physics from the VU University Amsterdam. In 2011 he was awarded the Young Energy Scientist (YES!) Fellowship from the Dutch Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM), which funded his tenure as a visiting researcher in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Since 2015 he is the group leader of the Nanomaterials for Energy Applications (NEA) laboratory at DIFFER.
