We proudly present: PhD day 2021, make it in the North! This tantalizing event will take place online on the 4th of June from 12:45 till 18:00. It will include a wide variety of activities, presentations & workshops related to doing a PhD, and careers both inside and outside academia. Our keynote speakers will be: Prof. Dr. Paul Parren & Prof. Dr. Petra Rudolf. Paul Parren is professor of molecular immunology at Leiden university and executive vice president of Lava Therapeutics. Petra Rudolf is the Dean of Graduate Studies of the University of Groningen and professor of experimental solid state physics at the Zernike institute for advanced materials. Our programme includes workshops by Elsevier and EV Biotech, but also workshops on how to best manage an academic career. Special attention will be given to career opportunities in the North of the Netherlands. So once your PhD finishes, you can make it in the North!
